- All students must carry the Almanac to school everyday. It must have their photograph and identity information duly filled and signed by parents.
- Students should be neatly dressed. The complete school uniform should be worn on every working day.
- Students who are not in proper uniform won’t be allowed to enter the school premises.
- Students must be careful of school properties.
- Students should not damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls, furniture and damage the possessions of others.
- Students should be polite wherever they go. They should remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
- They should greet their teachers and fellow students when they meet them.
- Bullying and use of foul language are punishable.
- Students must not miss any teaching/games/library/ activity period.
- No student should indulge in
Spitting in or near the school building, Rowdyism and rude behaviour, Casteism, communalism or practice untouchability. - The School request the utmost to co-operation from parents in maintaining high standard of discipline.
Punctuality & Attendance
Coming to school regularly is an integral part of a student’s life. This inculcates discipline and regularity in a student which is turn creates value systems that become a essential part of life. No student will be allowed to enter class without a leave application if he/she has been absent the previous day.
• Regularity and punctuality are important. Students should arrive at the school 5 minutes before the bell rings.
• Attendance is compulsory on the first day of the new academic session. It is also compulsory on the day before and the day after the Dussehra/winter/summer break.
The school will not cover academic backlog caused due to absenteeism. Half day leave is not normally permitted once the children enter the school premises. Permission to leave the school premises during school hours will only be granted in emergency situation, after obtaining a gate pass from the office, approved from the Principal.
Leave of Absence
Students who have been sick for more than 5 days will bring a medical Certificate/fitness Certificate from their doctor on re-joining school. Parents are to send an application stating the reasons for there ward’s absence. This has to be submitted to the class teacher.
Late Arrivals in school
The school gate will be closed after the morning prayer starts.
The names of late arrivals will be noted down.
In case of repeated late arrivals by a student, parents will be asked to take the child back home.
Infection or contagious disease
All students returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate indicating medical fitness
Note that for getting the regular attendance a student must carry the following to school everyday
• Proper dress code / School uniform
• Student’s I.D. Card
• Almanac (Diary)
Compulsory Attendance:
Students must be present on the ‘Compulsory Attendance’ days mentioned in the Almanac.
Note that if you are absent on ‘Compulsory Attendance’ days it will directly effect in the gradation on your report card.
- Students are expected to submit leave applications in advance on the prescribed application from provided in the school diary.
- For leave of more than one week, prior permission of the Principal must be taken in advance.
- Parents are requested not to ask for half day leave for their ward as it causes a lot of inconvenience to the school authorities.
- In case of leave for a medical reason, information must be given in writing and a Medical Certificate/Fitness Certificate immediately submitted to the Class Teacher, when the child rejoins school.
- Attendance at all school unit tests, examinations and activities is compulsory.
- For promotion to the next class, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance.
- Absence for more than three day without and application may render the pupil’s name to be struck of the rolls.
1. Parents are expected to attend all Parent Teacher Meetings (PTM) held in the school periodically.
2. The PTM schedule is listed in the almanac.
3. Parents can take appointment through the office and meet the teachers on any school working day.
